Xavier Roy is an Academic Advisor in the Faculty of Physical Activity Sciences at Université de Sherbrooke and an athletic development coach working with amateur and professional athletes. His expertise focuses primarily on ice hockey, volleyball, and track & field, through collaborations with Université de Sherbrooke, Stanstead College, and Excellence Sportive Sherbrooke.

Prior to joining Université de Sherbrooke, Xavier spent many years at Bishop’s University, where he contributed to sport program development and student-athlete support. His professional background combines extensive applied experience in strength and conditioning with a strong academic foundation in human performance optimization.

Xavier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, and a Doctorate in Education. His work focuses on integrating evidence-based practices into sport and high-performance environments while supporting the education and development of future sport performance professionals.
