Nicole completed her Bachelor of Physical Education and Health at McGill University. She went on to complete her Master of Kinesiology in applied exercise physiology at the University of Calgary.
Nicole has been with the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta since 2017 and has worked in both high performance sport and health care settings. She is a certified anthropometrist and has developed a specialty for para-sports and research. She was a member of the integrated support team for the national Para Hockey Team for five years and supported them through the 2022 Paralympic Games. Currently Nicole is part of the integrated support team for Wheelchair Rugby Canada & Team Canada Women’s Sitting Volleyball. She also supports improving accessibility and innovating sport science best practices at the CSIAB through collaboration on projects in the health, performance and technology fields of para-sport.
Fun fact: Nicole competed as an artistic gymnast, rower, as well as a pole vaulter and enjoys spending time in her garden.
