Brett Nagata began his career in adaptive sports by designing orthotics and prosthetics, a passion that led him into athletic therapy and physiotherapy. His work has spanned both grassroots and elite levels across two continents, including roles with the Scottish and English Institutes of Sport, as well as Wheelchair Basketball Canada.
While wheelchair basketball has been his primary focus, Brett’s experience extends across a range of sports, including judo, wheelchair archery, boccia, and para-athletics. He has contributed to six Paralympic Games and two Invictus Games. Additionally, Brett serves as an international classifier with the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF).
